Amman: The Electricity Distribution Company, in collaboration with the Greater Karak Municipality, has commenced work on installing electricity poles to supply power to the Karak Public Tourist Beach project. Mayor Mohammad Maaytah told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that this initiative will enhance tourism and economic services in the area, contribute to local development, and improve infrastructure quality.
According to Jordan News Agency, the municipality executed the project in cooperation with the Rural Electrification Directorate (Fils Al-Reef), which played a significant role in its completion. The total cost of the electricity connection project amounted to JD120,000.
