IACC Holds Workshops on Digital Tools, Whistleblower Protection

Amman: The Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission (IACC) organized a training workshop focused on “The Role of Digitalization, Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence in Combating Corruption.” The event was attended by 19 employees from the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO), highlighting the commission’s efforts to integrate modern digital tools in the fight against corruption.

According to Jordan News Agency, the workshop addressed the critical roles that cybersecurity, digitalization, and artificial intelligence play in anti-corruption efforts. It emphasized how digital integrity is essential for sustaining an investment-friendly environment and ensuring a transparent and honest digital framework.

In addition to the digital tools workshop, the commission conducted a training session on “Protection of Witnesses, Whistleblowers, Informants and Experts in Corruption Cases.” This session was attended by 18 NEPCO employees and covered the commission’s role in protecting witnesses and whistleblowers. Participants learned about the rights and duties of those under protection, as well as the legal and procedural requirements necessary to obtain it.
