Government Communication Minister Engages with Advertising and Marketing Sector Leaders

Amman: Minister of Government Communication Mohammad Momani met with representatives of the General Association of Advertising and Marketing Companies in the Kingdom. The delegation, which included Association President Falah Saghir, Deputy Association President Mohammad Nabulsi, and members Zaid Nasser and Omar Armouti, presented the Association’s demands and explored potential cooperation to enhance the sector’s role in serving advertising and marketing companies and institutions.

According to Jordan News Agency, Momani stressed the importance of the advertising and marketing services sector as a crucial element in stimulating economic activity and boosting the competitiveness of institutions both locally and regionally. He highlighted the need to enhance the sector’s efficiency to serve as an effective partner in achieving Jordan’s economic vision, and to strengthen partnerships between the public and private sectors.

Sagheer emphasized the Association’s mission and activities, along with its efforts to cooperate locally and internationally to bolster the sector. He noted that approximately 2,486 companies are licensed for advertising and publicity, with 375 actively practicing advertising.

The meeting concluded with the attendees expressing their readiness to collaborate with relevant authorities to support national efforts in promoting public and official occasions, as well as cultural and economic events on both local and international stages.
