The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 437.6 million, as of Tuesday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.
The University, in its latest update, revealed that the current global death toll has reached about 5.9 million. More than 10.5 billion people around the world have received the vaccine, it added.
