Global COVID-19 caseload tops 198mn

The total number of global COVID-19 cases has surged to 198.8 million, as of Tuesday, according to the Johns Hopkins University.

 

The University, in its latest update, revealed that the current global death toll rose to 4.2 million. It said that the United States accounted for the world’s highest number of cases followed by India then Brazil.
