‘Gaza 67’ field hospital begins operations

Medical staff of the Jordanian field hospital “Gaza 67” on Sunday started receiving patients in the coastal enclave.

Commander of the hospital, Col. Fawaz Da’ajah, said: “Upon Royal directives, and in implementation of Jordan’s humanitarian and medical effort to help families in the Gaza Strip, the hospital’s medical teams began today to receive patients and provide “best” treatment services to the people of in the coastal enclave “competently,” which also aim to alleviate Gazans’ suffering.

The hospitals’ director, Hashem Qawasmeh, said its medical, nursing and technical staff carried out duties with “high” professionalism, as hundreds of patients were treated in the first day of work, at specialized clinics that carry out their humanitarian tasks towards Gazans.

For their part, Gazans expressed gratitude for the “honorable” Jordanian stances towards Palestinian people.
