Four Militants Killed in Security Operation in Northwestern Pakistan

Four militants killed in a security operation carried out by Pakistani army forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, northwestern Pakistan.

The Inter-Services Public Relations Pakistan said in a statement that the army forces carried out a security operation that killed four militants, including an armed commander, following an exchange of gunfire in the Tirah area located in the province, Radio Pakistan reported.

Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other militants in the area.

The security forces and army in Pakistan have continued to carry out security operations in various regions of the country to pursue armed groups.
