Riyadh: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of the World Central Kitchen convoy in Gaza Strip, describing the attack as systematic continuation of Israeli occupation’s crimes and violations of international humanitarian law.
The ministry also extended the Kingdom’s sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, reiterating Saudi Arabia’s firm rejection of targeting missions and relief organizations and their workers.
The Kingdom called on the international community to play its role in halting these violations and protecting unarmed civilians and workers in humanitarian and relief organizations, as well as working on delivering more urgent humanitarian aid to avoid aggravating the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, the ministry added.
