FM Receives Phone Call from U.S. Counterpart

Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi received a phone call on Thursday from US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. The discussion focused on the risky escalation in the region and the potential for reestablishing security and stability, as well as a number of bilateral matters.

According to Jordan News Agency, Rubio denounced the attacks by Iran on the Kingdom and other Arab and Islamic nations. Safadi emphasized the importance of Jordanian-American ties and the ongoing initiatives to strengthen them. Rubio commended the Kingdom's contribution to regional security and stability.
