FM Follows Up on Murders of Jordanian, Arab National in Texas

Amman: The Ministry of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs said Sunday it is following up on the murders of a Jordanian and an Arab national in the American state of Texas.

According to Jordan News Agency, Spokesman Sufian Qudah stated that the Jordanian Embassy in Washington is in communication with security authorities in Texas. The aim is to track the progress of investigations to uncover the causes of the crime, pursue the perpetrator, and ensure they are brought to justice.

Qudah further noted that the ministry’s Operations Center maintains contact with the family of the Jordanian victim. Additionally, the Washington embassy has initiated official procedures to repatriate the Jordanian’s body in coordination with his family, pending the completion of investigations.

He also extended his condolences and sympathies to the families of the victims.
