FM, Bahraini Counterpart Review Regional Situation, Ties

Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi held a phone conversation on Tuesday evening with Bahrain's Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. The two ministers reaffirmed the depth of the fraternal relations between Jordan and Bahrain, stressing their shared commitment to further strengthening and developing bilateral ties in a way that serves the interests of both countries and their peoples.

According to Jordan News Agency, they discussed regional developments, the repercussions of the escalation in the region, and efforts aimed at restoring calm and enhancing security and stability. The two ministers emphasized the importance of adhering to the ceasefire between the United States and Iran and reaching a comprehensive solution to the crisis that addresses all sources of tension and contributes to achieving security and stability in the region.

They also reaffirmed the solidarity of Jordan and Bahrain in confronting Iranian attacks against the two kingdoms and against Gulf Cooperation Council member states.
