First direct transportation lines to operate between Amman, Ajloun cable car

Amman: The Jordan Tourist Transport Company (JET) and the Ajloun cable car opened their first direct transport connection on Friday.

General-Director of the Jordan Free and Development Zones Group (JFDZG) told the Jordan News Agency (Petra) that the group and the Jet had inked a deal to promote domestic tourism by building a direct transportation route that would cost less from Amman to the Ajloun cable car and back.

Arafat added that the route will run twice a day, with the first trip leaving at 10 a.m. from Al-Abdali station and the second flight leaving at 10:30 a.m. from the Seventh Circle station.

According to his clarification, tickets for the new route can be purchased via the Jet electronic application, in-person at Jet’s offices, or for JD5 for Jordanians and residents over the age of ten, 3 dinars for those under ten, and free for children under three.
