Fire Consumes Displaced Persons’ Homes in Hodeida

A fire broke out in the district of Al-Qanawis in Hodeida province on Sunday, consuming a number of displaced persons' homes.

The Assistant Governor for Northern district Ghalib Hamza explained that the field was taken to the village of Al-Hindi to see the fire damage caused by severe wind gusts during the processing of the meal.

The fire reportedly consumed six displaced persons' homes, including food and livestock, with no casualties or injuries, pointing out that the displaced families whose homes were damaged were rendered homeless and in need of emergency assistance and food.

He was accompanied during the visit to inspect the fire and provide some emergency aid to the displaced families, the director of Al-Qanawis district, Muhammad Al-Qawzi.
