Cairo: The Egyptian national carrier, EgyptAir, announced the continuation of the suspension of its flights departing from Cairo to the cities of Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Beirut, Doha, Amman, Dammam, Bahrain, Baghdad, Erbil, and Kuwait until further notice.
According to Jordan News Agency, the decision comes amid the escalation of events in the region, which are affecting air traffic in several neighboring countries. The suspension is in light of the continuous monitoring of developments through the crisis room at the Integrated Operations Center (IOCC) in coordination with the relevant authorities and external stations.
EgyptAir affirmed that it is continuously monitoring the latest developments through the company's integrated operations center to review updates. The airline reiterated its commitment to applying the highest aviation safety standards to ensure the security and safety of passengers.
