Education Minister and Iraqi Ambassador Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Educational Ties

Amman: Minister of Education Dr. Azmi Mahafzeh on Sunday received the Iraqi Ambassador to Amman, Omar Barzanji. During their meeting, they explored ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries, with a particular focus on the education sector.

According to Jordan News Agency, the discussions extended to include collaboration in higher education and the coordination for the admission of Iraqi students into Jordanian universities. Dr. Mahafzeh emphasized the ministry’s commitment to offering educational services to Iraqi students that are on par with those provided to Jordanian students, whether in public or private schools or universities.

Ambassador Barzanji expressed appreciation for the hospitality and quality of treatment Iraqis receive in Jordan. He highlighted the notable educational services that the Kingdom offers to the Iraqi community across various fields.
