A portrait of Leonardo DiCaprio painted by British artist Damien Hirst has sold for USD1.3 million at an auction in Cannes, France.
The painting, which was signed by the US star DiCaprio and the British artist, was sold at a party in Cannes, France, to raise money for AIDS research.
The American Foundation for AIDS Research (amfAR) confirmed that the painting, which dates back to 2016, was purchased for GBP 1.2 million ($1.3 million).
