Karak:Amman The Cybercrime Unit has been actively monitoring online activities related to the recent incident in Karak. The focus has been on identifying social media content that infringes on the privacy and dignity of the victims and injured, disrupts the investigation process, poses a threat to civil peace, or attempts to incite discord.
According to Jordan News Agency, a spokesperson from the Public Security Directorate revealed that several individuals have been identified in connection with these online activities. Authorities are currently working to apprehend these individuals.
The spokesperson further emphasized that there will be no tolerance for posts or comments that compromise civil peace. Strict legal action will be pursued against anyone involved in creating, sharing, or engaging with such content.
