A drill titled “Path to Safety” will be conducted on Monday by the National Center for Security and Crisis Management (NCSCM), in cooperation with various state institutions, armed forces and security agencies.
The 3-day exercise will simulate expected real-life scenarios in Amman and its suburbs, Irbid, Karak, Aqaba, Wadi Mujib and Petra, with the aim of evaluating the operational and safety measures prepared to deal with all forms of crises by the state’s institutions.
Security measures with rescue and evacuation operations will be implemented during the drill, in addition to launching warning sirens.
