Amman: The Civil Service Consumer Corporation and the Friends of Celiac Disease Patients Charity Association have renewed their cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing collaboration between the two entities.
According to Jordan News Agency, Issam Al-Jarrah, Director-General of the Civil Service Consumer Corporation, emphasized the importance of this renewed agreement in facilitating access to safe food for individuals with wheat allergies. The agreement ensures the availability of gluten-free flour in the corporation's markets. Al-Jarrah further highlighted the initiative's objective to foster partnership in raising awareness among the corporation's staff across all branches, thereby creating a supportive environment for people with celiac disease.
Suheir Abdel Qader, head of the Friends of Celiac Disease Patients Charity Association, remarked on the Civil Service Consumer Corporation's role as a leading national institution within the food security system. Since 2016, the corporation has successfully collaborated with the association to provide gluten-free flour, underscoring its social responsibility and commitment to sustainable development in social and humanitarian work. This agreement, she noted, supports the association's mission to serve people with celiac disease in Jordan and to promote health awareness about the condition among the corporation's employees, enhancing services for celiac disease patients.
