Civil servant, investor jailed for smuggling sexual stimulants

An Arab investor, a government employee at one of the Jordanian airports and a university student were sentenced to varying prison terms and fines after being convicted of smuggling sexual stimulants and honey in violation of the law.

A Judicial Committee specialized in corruption charges at the Amman Court of First Instance, headed by Judge Nasser Al-Salahin, found the employee guilty of the misdemeanor of exploiting public office for private gain and sentenced him to a jail term of one year.
