Dr. Saleh Abdulkarim Ahmed, a researcher in Islamic studies at the Bahraini Sunni Waqf Directorate, has commended Saudi Arabia’s pioneering role in promoting moderation and combating various phenomena that contradict Islam’s principles of tolerance.
On Sunday and Monday, 13th-14th August (26th-27th Muharram), the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, approved the hosting of the international conference on communication with religious affairs departments, fatwas, and sheikhdoms worldwide, under the theme “Communication and Integration,” in Makkah.
This conference, organized and supervised by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call, and Guidance, will witness the participation of representatives from 85 countries, including ministers and heads of Islamic affairs, fatwas, sheikhdoms, and Islamic associations.
In his statements to the press, Dr. Ahmed expressed his admiration for the ministry’s efforts in bringing together scholars and professionals from various religious institutions.
