Two men who assaulted a doctor in a southern region clinic on Saturday turned themselves in to police, the Public Security Department (PSD) said in a statement on Sunday.
The PSD indicated that a doctor in a health center in the Southern Badia region lodged a complaint saying he was attacked by two men while on duty, and that one of them fired shots in the clinic but without injuring anyone.
After an immediate investigation, police identified the suspects and launched a manhunt campaign before they turned themselves in and the weapon used in the incident, the PSD added. An investigation into the incident is still underway.
