Amman: Total trading volume of the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD10.3 million on Thursday, as 2.3 million shares were traded across 2,691 transactions. The general share price index closed at 3,692 points, marking an increase of 0.12 percent compared with the previous session.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of the 88 listed companies that were traded, 40 recorded gains, while 22 saw declines, and the remainder stayed unchanged. At the sectoral level, the industrial sector experienced a rise of 1.15 percent. In contrast, the services sector experienced a decline of 0.17 percent, and the financial sector saw a slight decrease of 0.05 percent.
