Amman: Total trading volume on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD 12.5 million on Thursday, with 2.4 million shares traded through 2,920 transactions. The ASE general share price index closed at 3,658 points, marking an increase of 0.04 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, out of 90 traded companies, 24 saw an increase in their stock prices, while 35 experienced a decline compared to their previous closing prices. At the sector level, the day's performance was mixed. The industrial index saw a decline of 0.90 percent. Conversely, the services index experienced a rise of 0.53 percent, and the financial index increased by 0.09 percent.
