Amman: Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD22.1 million on Monday, with 17.9 million shares traded through 4,617 transactions. The ASE General Index closed at 3,954 points, marking an increase of 0.39 percent.
According to Jordan News Agency, the services sector index saw a rise of 0.90 percent, and the financial sector index experienced a gain of 0.35 percent. In contrast, the industrial sector index recorded a decline of 0.37 percent. Among the 107 companies whose shares were traded, 43 companies recorded gains, while 27 saw declines compared with their previous closing prices.
