According to Jordan News Agency, Yamahi emphasized that the security, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of Arab states are an indivisible whole, asserting that any attack on one Arab state constitutes an attack on the entire Arab national security system. He expressed the Arab Parliament’s full solidarity with Jordan and the UAE and pledged support for all measures the two countries undertake to protect their security, sovereignty, and the safety of their citizens and residents. Yamahi stressed their legitimate right to self-defense under the UN Charter and international law.
Yamahi called on the international community and the UN Security Council to shoulder their legal and political responsibilities, urging them to take a firm stance against the attacks and work to halt them and prevent their recurrence. He highlighted the necessity of averting wider escalation to preserve regional and international peace and security.
Furthermore, Yamahi warned that the continuation of such attacks could undermine efforts to achieve security and stability in the region. He stressed the importance of respecting state sovereignty, refraining from interference in internal affairs, and upholding international law and the UN Charter to spare the region further tension and escalation.
