The Arab Parliament on Sunday condemned the failed assassination attempt that targeted Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kadhimi, after his house was attacked by a booby-trapped drone.
In a statement, the pan- Arab body stressed firm denunciation and rejection of “such heinous terrorist attacks”, voicing its full solidarity with Iraq in its efforts to safeguard the nation’s security and the safety of Iraqis.
It also affirmed that Iraq’s security is an integral part of pan-Arab security, urging for opening an immediate investigation into the attack.
