Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange experienced a modest increase on Tuesday as the benchmark general price index rose by 0.03 percent, closing at 4,205 points.
According to Jordan News Agency, trading volume for the day amounted to JD15 million with 9.1 million shares exchanged across 6,498 transactions.
The industrial index led the gains, climbing 0.31 percent. Meanwhile, the services and financial sectors saw smaller increases of 0.04 percent and 0.02 percent, respectively. Out of 113 active companies, 55 saw their shares advance, 29 declined, and the rest remained unchanged.
