Al-Sami’i receives encyclopedia studying “The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration” copy

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Sultan Al-Sami, received a copy of the comprehensive encyclopedia of the study “The Mutual Effects of Yemeni Migration,” prepared by Al-Khair Foundation for Global Development.

The Supreme Political Member, Al-Sami, heard from the director of the institution, Sadiq Al-Jamai, an explanation of the efforts that were made to complete the comprehensive encyclopedia and the stages of its preparation, which lasted for nearly two years, exceeding 65 meetings, and was divided into two parts, “theoretical and field,” targeting Southeast Asia, East Africa, Europe, the United States of America, Canada, and Gulf countries.

Al-Jamai pointed out that the study sought to highlight the role and influence of Yemeni immigrants in diaspora countries in various fields, in addition to touching on the reasons behind Yemeni immigration throughout history.

He pointed out that the expansion aims to bridge contemporary communication with immigrants to introduce the identity and status of the Yemeni immigrant in the past, present, and future.

Al-Samaie appreciated the efforts of Al-Khair Foundation for Social Development and businessman Alwan Saeed Al-Shaibani in preparing the study, which represents a national project that reflects the cultural role of Yemeni immigrants in countries of diaspora and expatriation in Africa, Southeast Asia, Europe and America.
