Amman: Interior Minister Mazen Al-Faraya met with Othman Belbeisi, Regional Director of the International Organization for Migration (IOM), and Tajma Kurt, head of the organization’s mission in Jordan, at the ministry building on Thursday to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation between Jordan and IOM.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al-Faraya commended the organization’s degree of ties with Jordan, highlighting that Jordan is willing to collaborate and support IOM’s humanitarian efforts. Belbeisi, in response, stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration at this critical juncture. He praised Jordan for the processes and resources it has made available to facilitate the organization’s humanitarian mission.
