Amman: President of Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU), met on Tuesday with Bertram von Moltke, German Ambassador to Jordan, to explore expanding academic, research, and innovation partnerships with German institutions. The meeting focused on enhancing collaboration in higher education, scientific research, entrepreneurship, and academic exchange to improve AHU's educational environment and deepen scientific ties.
According to Jordan News Agency, Kharabsheh presented AHU's academic and research achievements during the meeting, emphasizing the importance of establishing a long-term strategic partnership with German institutions. He highlighted the potential benefits such partnerships could bring in advancing higher education, promoting innovation, and supporting sustainable development in southern Jordan.
During his visit, von Moltke toured several campus facilities, including the Center for Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship; the Wildlife Museum at the Faculty of Science; and the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center at the Faculty of Nursing. The ambassador praised AHU's academic achievements and advanced training infrastructure, expressing Germany's commitment to strengthening ties and expanding joint educational initiatives.
