Martyrs’ Number of Israeli Aggression on Gaza Strip Rises to 8,800

Gaza, The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced Wednesday that the number of martyrs due to the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 8,800.

In a press release, the ministry stated that among the martyrs, there are 3,648 children and 2,290 women. The number of wounded individuals has also increased to over 21,000, and more than 2,000 reports of missing persons under the rubble have been received, with nearly half of them being children.

The ministry added that 132 medical personnel are also among the martyrs. The occupation continues its airstrikes, ground attacks, and naval assaults on the Gaza Strip amid a tight blockade on the region. There is a complete ban on the entry of aid, despite the increasing need for essential supplies such as medicines, safe drinking water, and more.

The latest massacre committed by the occupation involved its renewed shelling of residential areas in the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip today, resulting in dozens of martyrs and wounded individuals so far.
