Qatar Chamber (QC) participated in the annual meeting of Arab-Portuguese Chambers of Commerce and Industry held in Lisbon, Portugal.
Member of the QCs Board of Directors, Eng. Ali Bin Abdullatif Al Misned, represented QC in the meeting, which discussed work reports and followed up on the activities carried out by QC to enhance cooperation between Arab and Portuguese stakeholders.
Al Misned said Portugal is one of the vital states in trade relationship with Qatar owing to the investment opportunities in multiple sectors, pointing out that the meetings of Arab-Portuguese Chambers of Commerce and Industry were successful and active, adding that many matters concerned with the activation of trade cooperation were discussed between the two sides.
He voiced QC's keenness to participate in such external meetings within its role that aims to support the private sector.
The Portugal-based Arab-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry was established in 1986 and aims to upgrade economic, trade, industry and cultural ties between Portugal and Arab states based on mutual interest. Stemming from these ties, it crucially contributes to enhancing cooperation ties between Portugal and Arab states
