Amman:The Amman Chamber of Industry (ACI) is showcasing the capabilities of Jordanian industry at the Special Operations Forces Exhibition and Conference (SOFEX) 2026, with a dedicated pavilion featuring eight Jordanian factories.
According to Jordan News Agency, the participating manufacturers are presenting a variety of products for defense and security applications. These include components and structural assemblies, composite materials and carbon-fiber alternatives, control systems and electronics, vehicle armoring and laminated glass, mechanical spare parts, and smart measurement and monitoring systems.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, Fathi Al-Jaghbeer, ACI Chairman, stated that the participation aims to underscore the capabilities of local manufacturers, enhance Jordan's presence in the defense and security industries, and create new opportunities for industrial partnerships and expanded supply arrangements with international companies.
Al-Jaghbeer further noted that the exhibition offers a valuable platform for Jordanian manufacturers to interact with international companies and delegations. It allows them to explore opportunities for partnerships, manufacturing and supply, support the localization of industrial production, and access new markets for Jordanian products.
