Karak:Minister of Interior Mazen Al-Faraya announced on Monday that the perpetrators of the church attack in Hmoud village, Karak Governorate, have been captured. The announcement follows assurances that public safety is supported by strong security measures.
According to Jordan News Agency, Minister Al-Faraya emphasized that the assurances given to the public were not merely rhetorical but based on concrete actions. He stated that the authorities have apprehended the individuals responsible for the attack and are investigating factors that lead to youth extremism. The minister also stressed the commitment to hold accountable anyone involved in such activities.
The arrest of the three suspects occurred early Monday morning, marking the end of an intensive search operation carried out by joint security teams in the Karak Governorate. Minister Al-Faraya expressed the intention to transform this tragic event into decisive actions to protect citizens' lives, concluding with a prayer for the protection of Jordan.
