Amman:The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index decreased by 0.65 percent, closing at 4,139 points on Thursday, with the total trading value amounting to JD19.1 million.
According to Jordan News Agency, a total of 7 million shares were exchanged across 6,709 transactions. Out of the 102 companies traded, 25 saw an increase in share prices, while 46 experienced declines.
At the sectoral level, the industrial index fell by 2.15 percent, the financial index dropped by 0.35 percent, and the services index witnessed a slight decrease of 0.27 percent.
