Amman:The Public Security Directorate (PSD) has issued a safety advisory urging citizens to take precautions as adverse weather conditions are expected across parts of Jordan.
According to Jordan News Agency, meteorologists have forecasted scattered rain showers, occasionally accompanied by thunder, particularly in the southern and southeastern regions.
The PSD has warned drivers about the potential for low visibility, especially on desert highways and open badia areas, due to dust-laden winds. Motorists are advised to avoid speeding, follow traffic instructions from police officers, and contact emergency services at 911 if needed.
