Amman:According to Jordan News Agency, the Court of Cassation has mandated the dissolution of the Al-Ghad Party due to its failure to submit final financial accounts. This decision was prompted by a case filed by the Independent Election Commission's (IEC) Board of Commissioners.
The IEC stated that the ruling from the Court of Cassation, the highest court of appeal in the country, is final and must be enforced upon taking effect.
As a result of the Al-Ghad Party's dissolution, the total number of registered political parties in Jordan will decrease to 30.
