According to Jordan News Agency, the Social Security Corporation (SSC) has called upon tourism businesses to apply for financial relief before the September 30 deadline. The corporation highlighted that out of 1,238 eligible indebted tourism enterprises, 620 have signed installment agreements, leaving 618 businesses yet to act.
Under the relief plan approved by the board, eligible businesses can settle outstanding balances at a reduced interest rate of 1 percent annually. This initiative also allows companies to defer their initial installment payments until April 2027, which aims to ease financial burdens and provide businesses more time to meet their obligations.
The SSC emphasized that Wednesday marks the last opportunity to sign these special agreements, urging the remaining businesses to submit their applications before the offer expires.
