Amman:Saudi Arabia criticized ongoing provocations by Israeli officials and extremist settlers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed strong disapproval of actions against the mosque's religious and historical significance, considering them violations of international law and an affront to Muslims globally.
The Ministry also opposed Israeli statements about potential territorial annexations in southern Lebanon and areas up to the "Yellow Line" inside the Gaza Strip, rejecting any expansionist intentions.
Saudi Arabia reaffirmed its support for the Palestinians' right to establish an independent state along the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
