Microfund for Women Adopts Digital Signatures to Enhance Services

Dead Sea:The Microfund for Women and Tawqi3i Digital Solutions have entered into an agreement to incorporate digital signature and trusted digital services into the microfinance company's operations. This integration aims to improve the efficiency, security, and reliability of its digital transactions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was formalized during the JO FinTech 2026 conference held at the Dead Sea. Representatives from both organizations, including Microfund for Women CEO Maha Saeed and Tawqi3i General Manager Sami Rasikh, participated in the signing.

The collaboration will enable Microfund for Women to utilize Tawqi3i's platform for secure and legally binding digital transactions. This will be implemented under a framework that includes service-level agreements, a data processing agreement, and application programming interface (API) terms, ensuring governance, compliance, and data protection.

Maha Saeed emphasized the significance of this agreement in advancing the company's digital and operational capabilities. She stated that the adoption of secure electronic signatures and transaction solutions is expected to enhance operational efficiency, expedite service delivery, and streamline financing processes for beneficiaries. The initiative aligns with the company's strategic objectives to promote sustainable financial inclusion and support the economic empowerment of low-income women.

Saeed also noted the importance of collaborating with Jordanian technology experts at Tawqi3i, expressing optimism that the partnership would set a precedent for digital transformation initiatives and contribute to the national economy.

Sami Rasikh pointed out that the agreement would facilitate the application of trusted technology in financial services, improving the experience for beneficiaries, accelerating procedures, and reducing the reliance on paper-based transactions while maintaining high standards of data protection and compliance.

The integration of digital solutions with existing operations is anticipated to enhance efficiency, facilitate access to services, and improve the digital experience for beneficiaries of Microfund for Women.

Founded in 1996, the Microfund for Women is a private nonprofit registered with the Ministry of Industry and Trade, operating under the oversight of the Central Bank of Jordan. It is also a member of Tanmeyah, Jordan's microfinance network. Meanwhile, Tawqi3i Digital Solutions specializes in electronic signature and trusted digital services, providing platforms for electronic signatures, document management, and integration solutions through APIs.
