Al Hussein Fund and Banking Institute Collaborate on Digital Skills Training

Amman:The Al Hussein Fund for Excellence and Creativity and the Institute of Banking Studies have entered a partnership to create specialized training programs focused on digital skills, fintech, innovation, and professional development. These programs aim to prepare university graduates and job seekers for the labor market.

According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was formalized during the Jordan FinTech Festival 2026 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Palace. It is designed to align training initiatives with the needs of the banking, financial, and related economic sectors. The collaboration includes joint workshops, seminars, conferences, and professional certification programs, alongside support for entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and innovation.

The agreement was signed by Al Hussein Fund Director General Ali Yaghi and Institute of Banking Studies Director General Riyad Hindawi. The Al Hussein Fund will provide financial backing for the agreed programs and activities, assist in identifying target groups, and facilitate their participation.

The Institute of Banking Studies, through its FinTech Academy, will handle the technical and training aspects, including design and implementation of programs, selection of trainers and experts, and evaluation and assessment of participants. Both organizations aim to strengthen connections between program participants and employers in relevant sectors, with joint issuance of participation and professional certificates.

Yaghi highlighted that the cooperation will focus on training and development programs for university graduates, job seekers, and employees in the economic, financial, and banking sectors, ensuring they meet labor market demands. Hindawi noted that this agreement is a step toward enhancing national efforts to develop human capital in response to rapid changes in these sectors.
