Amman: An official military source at the General Command of the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army stated that Royal Jordanian Air Force aircraft intercepted and downed four Iranian drones targeting Jordanian territory on Wednesday morning.
According to Jordan News Agency, the source confirmed that the interception operation resulted in no casualties or material damage. It was noted that Royal Engineering Corps teams managed the fallen debris across several locations in accordance with established technical and security procedures.
The source further added that the Jordanian Armed Forces-Arab Army continues to monitor Jordanian airspace vigilantly. They maintain the highest levels of operational readiness to respond to any threat targeting the Kingdom's security and the safety of its citizens.
