Aqaba: The Jordanian Agricultural Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association (JAEA) and the Chinese Yangling Model Organization have signed a cooperation agreement aimed at advancing agricultural technology training. The agreement, signed on Saturday, represents a significant step towards enhancing collaboration between the two organizations in the field of agricultural innovation.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement was signed by Mohammad Harahsheh and Abdul-Halim Abu Aoun on behalf of JAEA, and Zhang Xueming, Director of the Organization's Foreign Affairs Office, for the Chinese side. This marks the third agreement JAEA has secured during its ongoing visit to China, following previous agreements with prominent Chinese universities, institutions, and companies.
JAEA President Imad Ayasrah emphasized the importance of this agreement in establishing the association as a reliable partner in international agricultural innovation projects. He highlighted the association's commitment to initiating joint programs and projects that will encompass specialized training, expertise exchange, applied research, and the development of entrepreneurial and technological projects. These initiatives aim to introduce the latest agricultural technologies to Jordan.
Ayasrah further stated that these efforts will play a crucial role in increasing the efficiency of Jordan's agricultural sector, boosting food security, empowering young entrepreneurs, and supporting the nation's sustainable development goals.
