Ma’an Development Company Welcomes First Group of 1948 Palestinian Pilgrims

Ma'an: Ma'an Governor Khaled Al-Hajjaj and Ma'an Development Company CEO Mohammad Abu Tayeh on Monday welcomed the first group of 1948 Palestinians upon arrival at the company's "Hajj Oasis" facility.

According to Jordan News Agency, this initiative is the result of diligent efforts and extensive preparations to develop the Oasis into a fully equipped rest stop, designed to meet the highest standards for the pilgrims. Governor Al-Hajjaj emphasized the importance of welcoming and serving the pilgrims, describing it as both a religious and national duty, and a source of pride for every Jordanian.

Governor Al-Hajjaj referred to the Hajj Oasis as "a landmark on the Hajj route," highlighting that these efforts align with the directives of His Majesty the King to provide the utmost care and a safe, comfortable environment for the pilgrims as they embark on their journey of faith to Saudi Arabia for the start of the Hajj season. The governor also noted that a technical inspection station at the Oasis is operating at full capacity to ensure that all buses are fully prepared, and he stressed that authorities will not permit any bus that fails to meet the technical requirements to continue the trip.

CEO Abu Tayeh detailed how the Hajj Oasis has been equipped with comprehensive facilities, including air-conditioned rest areas, restrooms, and secure bus parking spaces, to ensure a smooth and comfortable flow of pilgrims. He praised the coordination with all governmental and security agencies, which has been instrumental in the successful preparation and operation of the facility.
