Amman: Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) closed Thursday with a marginal gain, as the general price index rose 0.01 percent to 3,862 points. Total trading volume reached JD11.2 million, with 5.4 million shares changing hands through 3,612 transactions.
According to Jordan News Agency, of the 94 listed companies that traded, 35 posted share price gains while 30 recorded declines. At the sector level, the industrial index rose 0.46 percent, and the financial index gained 0.11 percent. The services sector index fell 0.47 percent.
