Jordan, Turkiye Foreign Ministers Explore Regional De-escalation Efforts

Amman: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs Ayman Safadi and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, Hakan Fidan, engaged in discussions on Wednesday to address the ongoing escalation in the region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the two ministers conducted a telephone conversation focusing on the prospects for achieving a comprehensive solution. This solution aims to build upon the ceasefire between the United States and Iran, with the goal of establishing sustainable security and stability.

The discussions also included exploring opportunities for increased cooperation across different sectors. Both ministers reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening the fraternal relations between Jordan and Turkiye through ongoing joint efforts. They emphasized the importance of maintaining high-level coordination and consultation on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
