Zarqa: President of Hashemite University Khaled Hyari expressed pride and joy following His Majesty King Abdullah II's visit to the university, highlighting the deep connection between the Hashemite leadership and residents.
According to Jordan News Agency, Hyari emphasized that the royal meeting serves as a significant milestone and a catalyst for future achievements at the university. He noted the king's support for entrepreneurship, innovation, and the creation of business incubators, which aim to foster a strong sense of belonging among students and open opportunities for national development.
Hyari praised the royal directives focusing on student mobility and the health, education, youth, and women's sectors, along with development and industrial zones. Hyari pointed out the royal meeting's directives, which benefit both students and the local community, particularly through the establishment of a bus rapid transit link between Zarqa city and the university to ease student commutes.

He highlighted the university's strategic plan to align with royal directives and the Economic Modernization Vision, introducing technical education and new majors in line with future skills.
The university president underscored the institution's contribution to Zarqa's healthcare sector, providing specialist doctors and performing advanced procedures at Zarqa Government Hospital. He mentioned a project to build a clinical dentistry facility, which is 20% complete, aiming to offer high-quality healthcare and training opportunities.
