Abu dhabi: The President of the Arab Parliament, Mohamed Ahmed Al Yamahi, on Monday condemned renewed Iranian attacks targeting civilian facilities in the United Arab Emirates with missiles and drones, labeling them a flagrant violation of international law.
According to Jordan News Agency, Al Yamahi stated that the strikes represent an unacceptable assault on state sovereignty and a grave threat to regional and international security. He further noted that the actions demonstrate a deliberate disregard by Iran for the principles of good neighborliness.
He called on the international community to fulfill its responsibilities by immediately condemning and halting these "treacherous attacks." He urged world powers to take firm stances to ensure such incidents do not recur, warning that the current escalation directly undermines regional stability.
Reiterating that the security of the United Arab Emirates is an integral part of Arab national security, Al Yamahi expressed the Arab Parliament's full solidarity with the UAE. He affirmed the body's total support for all measures the country takes to protect its security, stability, and sovereignty.
