Egypt Denounces Missile and Drone Assaults on UAE Oil Facility

Egypt: Egypt on Monday condemned in the strongest terms the "sinful attacks" launched via missiles and drones targeting the United Arab Emirates, which caused a fire at an oil facility in the emirate of Fujairah and left several people injured.

According to Jordan News Agency, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirmed its full solidarity and support for all measures taken by the UAE to protect its national interests and sovereignty. The ministry added that it categorically rejects any practices intended to terrorize civilians or destabilize the Arabian Gulf region.

The statement warned of the "extremely grave consequences" of these attacks, describing them as a dangerous escalation that undermines efforts toward regional calm and de-escalation.

Egypt further emphasized that such actions constitute a flagrant violation of the principles of international law and the United Nations Charter.
